St. Peters Fly Shop, Ft. Collins (970) 498-8968 (Dave Cook, Andy Griguhn, Jin Choy Grant Houx). www.stpetes.com
Flows are up - big time _ in the Poudre. Nows the time to chuck stonefly nymphs, streamers, craneflies, sculpin patterns and the big juicy stuff. Be careful wading, or hit the prairie lakes in Colorado and Wyoming.Damsels, Callibaetis, chironomids and crawdad patterns will all generate strikes - depending on how and you fish them.
Anglers Roost, Ft. Collins (970) 377-3785 (Gordon Waldmier, Rick Takahashi, Mark Brumbraugh, and Jason Haddix) www.anglers-roost.com
Chironomids - bow-tie buzzers, ice cream cones, etc. - buggers and scuds almost always produce on the Delaneys but the damselfly and cally hatches will soon be upon us, and you can count on some good fishing fly patterns that mimic either - both wet and dry.

The following Big T report (with minor modifications) was taken directly from the Estes Angler website:
Running at 125 cfs below the Dam and 459 cfs into the lake. Fishing on the Big T downstream from the Dam has been very good. Stoneflies, Caddis, Terrestrials and Pale Morning Duns will provide the most action. Stoneflies are active, and pounding the banks with Golden Stones 10-14, Yellow Stimulators 10-14, Beetles 14-16 and Carpenter Ants 12-14 can pull up a few fish. For Caddis, try Elk Hairs (16-18), Outrigger Caddis 16-18, Z-Wing Caddis 16-18 and Hotwire Caddis 16-18. Pale Morning Duns are appearing around 11AM and a PMD Quill, Thorax or Parachute dun in sizes 16-20 are good choices for dries. For Emergers try a PMD Sprout or Spotlight in sizes 16-20. For PMD Nymphs, fish Military Mays, Pickpockets, Pheasant Tails and Hotwire Mays - all in sizes 18-20. If flows increase on the Thompson, fishing will still be good. Big flies fished close to the bank are your best bet.
