Nymph fishing using golden stone's and attractors like the Prince will provide great sport during the first couple of weeks. Those lovely BWO's will be around as well but the fishing will be much more sporadic as the water flows come up and discolor the water making the dry fly fishing a gamble. If you see risers, go forth and get 'em! But if I were a betting man I'd stick to large nymphs dead drifted through the riffles and pools above Drake.

All bets are off for the last half of the month...the river will either be very fishable or a torrent of chocolate milk depending on the temperatures up in the high country. It'll be up to you to go up and see what the conditions will offer.

Either way it's great to see that the Big T. should have at least a normal season this year.

Good luck,
Greg
